Terms and Conditions

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms and Conditions set forth the terms, conditions, and procedures for the use of website services provided by Born Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

1. These Terms shall take effect upon notification to Users.
2. The contents of these Terms shall be posted on the service screen, and any changes to the Terms shall be announced through the Company’s online notice board.
3. The Company may revise these Terms when deemed necessary, and the revised Terms shall take effect in the same manner as specified in Paragraph 1.

Article 3 (Application of Terms)

1. These Terms shall apply in conjunction with the service usage regulations and separate terms provided by the Company.
2. Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations.

Article 4 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms are defined as follows:
1. “User” refers to individual or corporate members who access the “Website” and receive services provided by the “Website” in accordance with these Terms.
2. “Registration” refers to the act of completing a service usage contract by filling out the application form provided by the Company and agreeing to these Terms.
3. “Member” refers to a user who has registered their personal or corporate information on the “Website” and can continuously receive information and services from the “Website.”
4. “ID” refers to a combination of letters and numbers approved by the Company and requested by the member for member identification and service use.
5. “Password” refers to a combination of letters and numbers selected by the user to verify their member ID and protect their privacy in communications.
6. “Withdrawal” refers to the act of terminating the service usage contract by a member.
7. Terms not defined in these Terms shall be defined in separate terms and usage regulations for individual services.

Article 5 (Member Qualification and Application)

1. Membership registration is completed when users agree to these Terms and comply with the registration procedures required by the Company.
2. The Company provides member IDs free of charge to new members, and service applicants must apply using their real names.
3. Membership is established upon the Company’s approval of the user’s application and the user’s agreement to the Terms.
4. After user registration, qualified applicants will immediately be shown a screen notifying them of their registration online.

Article 6 (Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification)

1. Member qualifications may be restricted or suspended in the following cases:

a. When using another person’s name fraudulently
b. When submitting false information or documents in the service application
c. When applying for the purpose of disturbing social order or public morals
d. When interfering with other users’ service use or misappropriating their information
e. When conducting activities prohibited by law and these Terms using the Company’s site
f. When failing to meet other application requirements set by the Company

Article 7 (Service Provision and Use)

1. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, unless prevented by business or technical difficulties.
2. The Company may suspend service provision in the following cases:

a. When system maintenance is unavoidable
b. When telecommunications service providers specified in the Telecommunications Business Act suspend telecommunications services
c. When other circumstances prevent the Company from providing services

3. The services provided by the Company are as follows, and the Company may modify and provide these services after notifying users of any changes:

a. Website (Member Terms)
b. All other services developed by the Company or provided through cooperation agreements with other companies

Article 8 (Consent to Use of Member Information)

1. The Company’s privacy policy applies to members’ personal information.
2. Member information is collected, used, managed, and protected as follows:

a. Collection of Personal Information: The Company collects information provided during service registration, community activities, event participation, and advertising or prize acquisition.
b. Use of Personal Information: The Company will not disclose or distribute members’ personal information to third parties without consent, except as required by law, for criminal investigation, or by other legal procedures.
c. Management of Personal Information: Members can modify/delete their personal information at any time through the website’s member information section.
d. Protection of Personal Information: Only you can view/modify/delete your personal information, managed entirely by your ID and password.
e. Other: Please be aware that personal information voluntarily provided online through bulletin boards, email, etc., may be collected and used by others.

3. Members’ application for service use under these Terms is considered consent to the Company’s collection, use, and provision of member information as specified in these Terms.

Article 9 (User Information Security)

1. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their information from the moment they complete the registration process, and members are responsible for all consequences arising from the use of their ID and password.
2. Members are responsible for all ID and password management and must immediately notify the Company if they discover unauthorized use of their ID or password.
3. Users must properly terminate their service session after each use, and the Company is not responsible for any damages or losses resulting from failure to do so.

Article 10 (Information Provision and Advertisement Posting)

1. The Company may provide members with various information through website postings and other methods.
2. The Company may post advertisements on the website, email, and other channels related to service operation.

Article 11 (Copyright of Submitted Content)

1. You retain rights to the content you post.
2. The Company reserves the right to edit or move posted content without prior notice and may delete content without notice in the following cases:

a. Content that violates these Terms or is deemed commercial, illegal, obscene, or vulgar
b. Content that defames or damages the reputation of other members or third parties
c. Content that violates public order and morals
d. Content associated with criminal activities
e. Content that infringes on third-party copyrights or other rights
f. Content posted by withdrawn members
g. Content that violates other applicable laws

3. You bear full civil and criminal responsibility for any copyright infringement resulting from your posts.

Article 12 (Company’s Obligations and Responsibilities)

1. The Company owns and operates the service.
2. The Company cannot disclose, publish, or distribute members’ personal information obtained through the service to others without prior consent and cannot use it for commercial purposes unrelated to the service, except as required by law or for investigation purposes.

Article 13 (Member’s Obligations)

1. Members must comply with applicable laws, these Terms, usage guidelines, and cautions notified by the Company, and must not interfere with Company operations.
2. Members cannot conduct any for-profit activities using the service without the Company’s prior consent.
3. Members cannot copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, or otherwise use or provide to others information obtained through the service without the Company’s prior consent.
4. Members must not engage in the following activities when using the service:

a. Unauthorized use of other members’ IDs
b. Criminal activities or activities related to crime
c. Activities that harm public morals or social order
d. Defamation or insult of others
e. Infringement of others’ intellectual property rights
f. Hacking or computer virus distribution
g. Transmission of advertising information without consent
h. Modification of information posted on the Company site
i. Activities that may interfere with stable service operation
j. Other activities that violate applicable laws

Article 14 (Changes to Member Information)

1. Members must immediately notify and update any changes to their information (address, email address, etc.) through the Company’s website.
2. Members are fully responsible for consequences arising from failure to notify or update changes, which may result in service suspension or termination.

Article 15 (Deletion of Posts or Content)

The Company may delete posts or content without prior notice or consent if they violate regulations or exceed the Company’s specified posting period.

Article 16 (Contract Termination and Usage Restrictions)

1. Members wishing to terminate their service contract must notify the Company one day prior to the intended termination date (two days prior if the termination date is a public holiday) through the service or email.
2. The Company may terminate the service contract if a member violates these Terms and fails to remedy the violation within the specified period.
3. The Company may restrict or suspend service use without prior consent for members who violate contract terms.
4. The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate service for use that does not comply with contract terms or violates laws.

Article 17 (Compensation for Damages)

The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by members in connection with free services, except for damages caused by the Company’s gross negligence.

Article 18 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company shall not be responsible for service suspension due to force majeure events such as natural disasters.
2. The Company shall not be responsible for service disruptions caused by users’ fault.
3. The Company shall not be responsible for damages resulting from information obtained through service use.
4. The Company shall not be responsible for the reliability or accuracy of information provided through the Company’s service network.
5. The Company shall not be responsible for the content of materials posted or transmitted by users.

Supplementary Provision 1.
These Terms shall take effect from January 15, 2014.
